People:
- Justin, a way-cool little brother!
 - Shane Cook, who really looks a lot
better than his picture, and finds all the best restaurants in the Metro
Detroit area, including the best blues bar, the now-defunct, soon to be
rejuvenated Sully's.
 - Nickole is as true and thoughtful a friend as Shane, and that's saying a lot.
 - Mike, Mr.Login, who bets that his home page will be cooler than mine. He's wrong, but he can still eat more spaghetti than me!
 - Sharon, the Insignificant Alien.
 - Asya is really sweet, and a very bright programmer.
 - Rennie introduced me to Sluggy Freelance. Is that not nifty? Also a great date, and a Java programmer. Yay!
 - Yan is beautiful, talented, and says she wants to paint my portrait!
 - Olga is a very well-rounded person... she has a Ph.D. in biochemistry and incredible legs.
 - Dawn, Now at mozilla.org in foggy California, the sys-damsel-admin in the tall tower.
 - Kathy, the Thwap Goddess, who got me into bicycling.
 - Erica, la Eriquita! That girl is incredible! I consider her a dear friend.
 - Bolo, the only nigh-indestructible AI tank I've ever met. I'm glad he's on my side!
 - JT the LFM, who I love like a brother... and sometimes wanna kill like one, too.
 - Egon, The former reluctant famulus of the net.
 - Daniel Glasser, Elvi and big name filker.
 - Anne Gay is cute, and fun, and bright, and has a wonderful fiance' (darn!) but she introduced me to Laura...
 - Laura Hewitt is a Vegetarian Dish, a Lemur beyond reproach, friend to Anne and me, gifted poet, published science fiction author, and poet again
 - Randy Asplund-Faith and his lovely ex-wife Melody are still wonderful people, even if they waste time on that silly SCA stuff, being Baron Ranthulfir and Lady Dulcinea.
 - Laura Craighead is a brilliant woman, delivering educational networks for the Federal gov't, and great fun as a Star Trek fan.
 - Iain, my predecessor as Web admin and a good travel companion, as well as architect of CareerSite.
 - Linda Bangert and Joe McConnell are just a couple of Woodchucks, y'know?
 - Ed Vielmetti is the most quotable person I know, and also amoung the quietest.
 - Owen's page doesn't suck quite as badly as it used to. How come some of the top technical people have such crappy webpages?
 - Steve Simmons, on the other hand is a brilliant computer person, both socially apt and web enabled.
 - Nealix was part of the Sully's gang, was my almost-ex-alien-in-law, is still a friend.
 - Jim, whose real purpose was to keep me from going sane while I worked on FMEAplus, is now working with Ben, another talented programmer.
 - Ronda, a nubile young Ferengi I paid quite a bit of latinum for.
 - Troy.... Anyone else dating an attractive woman is by definition a non-Troy boy toy.
 - Airyn is unique. So much so that I recommend you 'nique up on her and hit her with a fish. Very impressive set of webpages! Remind her: she wants to buy me dinner.
 - Holly and Star are, as she would say, Way Babes.
 - Melissa the Fan, the Internet Librarian, the legend.
 - Sharmila, one of the most exciting women I ever had the good fortune to know.
 - Kim Reck used to be a great guy to hang out with, find me cool t-shirts, and do cool paintings!
 - Mike Suzio is worth 10X his weight in non-Perl-hackers.
 - Becki is the AlphaFemale, a person I consider myself lucky to to work with, and one of my ex-wives.
 - Paul and Lizzie have been friends for years, but I've restrained myself from adding a link to his page until now for some reason. Maybe I'm just jealous because he's more famous than me for his Internet hottub.
 - Jim King was one of my best friends in college.
 - Bill Humphries was a friend from high school who I recently ran into at a Web conference. Cool!
 - Sara Felix is a friend of Shane's. A remarkable human being.
 - Paul Estin is the one who came up with Peep Prophecy #6, ask him about it sometime.
 - Debbie Ridpath Ohi, the mother of my children, who had a link to my page for years, and has blown me away (ah, the agony!) now that I'm finally putting in a link to her!

 - Vanora is a WorldCon fan and all around fun person.
 - Cori was a leprechaun who came into my life and shared her magic....
 - Tom Smith is a wonderful filksinger who has just come out with an album called Plugged including "Online Religion" and "Spam" (the email song).
